Flash flood warning remains in effect for S.J. region (Courier-Post)
A flash flood watch is in effect for the region through Sunday evening, the National Weather Service said Saturday. Occasional rain — sometimes heavy — and thunderstorms are expected today. The high temperature is expected to be in the upper 70s and the low in the mid 60s.

Flash flood warning issued (The News Journal)
The National Weather Service early today issued a flash flood warning for central Kent County in Delaware and the northeastern parts of Caroline and Queen Anne’s counties in Maryland. At 1:06 a.m., the service’s doppler radar indicated that 3 to 5 inches of rain had fallen over these areas. Additonal rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warning area, the service reported. The
